Aussie Trip TN00605A.gif (2512 bytes)Part 2

Welcome to my page that introduce my latest trip to down under.  So I got myself unto a plane after quitting my antecedent job, thinking this is the best way to reward myself after working in a thankless environment.  (Not saying that my former working place is a living hell or all jobs must be thankful, just feeling that since it is a new start, might as well make full use of my free time before the new job right?).  So with the prospect of terribly missing my girlfriend, I decided to make a trip down.  With free accommodation and soft rice to eat, why NOT? (Hehehehehehe.......)

So I arrived at her apartment. And one of the nicest place to stay, with the tram just outside and a very 'expensive' look to boot. However the trip from the airport is kind of far, after a 45 min bus ride and a 20 min Tram ride.   So was glad that I reached her place and then

Took out my long sleeve, hot like hell, shirt

Make my Girl go ga ga over the sleeveless t/shirt i was wearing
(Sorry, girls no picture on that)

Make myself comfortable and..

Sleep.

What a great way to start a vacation. =)

After which, a trip to down town again.  Back to the familiar streets and sounds.  Sounds good to me, but to Ruth  is back to studies again. Talk about studies... Will
show you the University she attended......relax...later okie? Anyway, the good ole me love the great out doors.  And the prospect of going back to great ocean road again seems like a good way to stock up some pre wedding photos...heheheh....at least I can tell my kids...."Nah, you see how active  your daddy is? Not to mention your mum lah~" kekekeke.....

Nice view eh? Couldn't get any better than this.  And i merge these pictures without any photo stitching software.  The view on top is a four picture paranorma pf the 12 apostles..  And we also manage to go down Gibson steps which is really pretty nice view on one of'Apostles.  It does look fake though but we are really there.  I reckoned that the roaring sea has produced some sort of mist  and thus the dreamy effect.  Don't believe? See for yourself. And yeah....the London bridge.

So you have been wondering how we get there yeah?  Oh simple.... just rent a car. Actually we rented two cars.  One is the Ford falcon which we drove to Great Ocean road and the western side of Melbourne and the Mitsubishi to the Eastern Side.....where we use it to visit Mornington Peninsular, Arthur's Seat and Church~.  More on that later.

Ladies & Gentlemen, the cars that I am proud to drive =P.

Talk about Mornington Peninsular, was never in the plans but with brochure in the hands of Ruth, well just convinced me to have the look at the place situated South-Eastern side of the city.  A very nice place indeed.  And it pains to see fellow divers going off for a dive in the peninsular.  The sea was really great and the sun was none too merciful and I was really thinking of skinny dip y'know mate?  There was an absolutely gorgeous town at the tip of the peninsular.  They sell things that are really up market like jewellery, nice potted plants, a mini golf course, antique shop and a FANTASTIC ART bookshop.  Ah enough reading.....

And of course Arthur's Seat, over looking the whole of Mornington Peninsular is a great way to view our destination. Making our way using the cable seat and get our buttocks red with pain because of those wooden seats, I think it is worth it. See for yourself.

And there's Dandenong. => After paying 2 Aussie bucks just to see the Melbourne City,  It is pretty okie, something like the Singapore Mount Faber feeling. Hiaks....

And also at the foot of Dandenong is the Puffing Billy train. Never got to ride it, so at least take a photo.  Been there, been seen and taken that.....there~!

After the trip to the top, we went to the harbour, to see the cruise ship that sails to Tasmania.  Nice place, great houses. and of course, chio bu to see.....dun believe...Nah~

But of course, the handsome people also there lor...HAHAHAHHA.....

Besides that, we also went to Kilda, for the Sunday morning pasar malam there.
Talk about shopping we also went to Victoria Market, Mel Central for the SAKE for SUKIYAKI~

And also not to forget about my cousin as well. =) there there guys...stop drooling~

And to round up the trip, we got ourselves a great SUKIYAKI dinner hope they all like it.
